This is the 2nd greatest hits compilation by hard rock band Van Halen. It has recordings with David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar. No recordings with Gary Cherone are on this greatest hits compilation. Hagar reunited with Van Halen before this was released. Three new tracks were recorded with Hagar and they were all released as singles. This compilation debuted at #3 in the U.S. A reunion happened after this was released and it was certified Platinum. Notably, this is the last Van Halen to have contributions by Michael Anthony and Hagar. .
