"Mon Laferte (Vol. 1)" is the third studio album by Chilean singer Mon Laferte. It was officially released on August 21, 2015. The album was recorded during a time when Mon Laferte was facing depression this influenced songs like Tormento, Tu falta de querer, among others. It was recorded in very precarious conditions, without money and without electricity in Mon Laferte's house, using an electrical extension connected in the building's parking lot to energize the equipment. According to the artist's own words, during the recording of the album, the cars unplugged the current, also affirmed that the album was recorded .
