On December 2, 2016, The Rolling Stones released their first studio album in over 10 years, entitled "Blue & Lonesome" (2016) on the Polydor label. This 12-track album is their first studio album since "A Bigger Bang" in 2005 and represents the band's 25th studio album. "Blue & Lonesome" (2016) is a collection of blues covers which takes the band back to their roots.
