Chip Chrome & The Mono-Tones is the fourth studio album of eclectic indie group The Neighbourhood to have been released under contract with Columbia Records, already notorious for their frequent sound experiments, introduce a new persona to their discography: the silver alien Chip Chrome (impersonated by lead singer Jesse Rutherford) and his shadowy band, The Mono-Tones.
