EBM

EBM, is an acronym for electronic body music and stands for Editors/Blanck Mass. Although it’s a dance-friendly record, and on tracks like ‘Kiss’ they express their inner New Order, the project is still accomplished in Editors’ unique atmospheric style, which unsurprisingly isn’t appropriate for Ibiza. As Editors went into making EBM without a concrete plan of making an album, this allowed them to think freely and experiment without looming deadlines. Once they decided it was the avenue they wanted to go down, the six-piece began getting the wheels in motion, and it gave them a creative focus during a time .
