JAMIE is the first album by artist Montell Fish, and was completely written, recorded, and produced by himself. The primary inspiration behind JAMIE is its namesake–Fish’s ex-girlfriend Jamie. The 10-track album details the isolation, loneliness, and enduring sadness that Fish experienced after his breakup with Jamie. The album is part of a trilogy alongside projects CHARLOTTE and MARSHALL that centre around the 7 stages of grief: denial, isolation, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.
