Takin' It Back is the fifth major-label studio album by American singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor, released on October 21, 2022. Musically, it features Trainor returning to the doo-wop sound of her debut major-label studio album, Title (2015). This marks a significant transition away from the electronic pop sound of her previous studio album, Treat Myself (2020). The album's lead single, Bad For Me (feat. Teddy Swims), was released on June 24, 2022, while the 2nd single, Made You Look was released the same day as the album. The album debut at #16 on the US Billboard 200 chart, becoming her fourth .
