From the band's website http://megalodonmusic.com: Formed in the summer of 2009 in State College, Pennsylvania, Megalodon was created as a composers' collective. Each member's musical background ranges considerably, bringing varied musical perspectives and compositional styles to the group, collectively drawing from classical, jazz, rock, death metal, hip hop, drum 'n' bass, video game music, latin, reggae, Afro-Cuban and other world music.
