"SKINS" is XXXTENTACION’s third studio album and his first full-length posthumous release. It is also a follow-up to his second studio album "?", which was released almost eight months prior. The ten-track album boasts a sole vocal feature from Kanye West. On January 5, 2015, X tweeted the album’s title for the first time. He first officially announced the album on December 28, 2017. He further teased the album on April 28, 2018, when he posted what was presumably the album’s cover, captioning the post: "skins “the album” coming soon" Amidst working on SKINS, X was tragically murdered at gunpoint .
