Universe is the debut and only studio album by the Welsh duo Mandy, released on 27 May 2016 by Bubblewrap Records on limited edition blue vinyl (BWR026V) and promotional CDr. The record was written and recorded by Mel Fung and Andy Fung, who performed as Mandy (a contraction of their first names). The album was created in the period leading up to Mel Fung’s death from cancer in October 2014, and is widely regarded as her final artistic statement. Despite the circumstances of its recording, Universe is often described as uplifting and life-affirming, with critics noting its mixture of alternative .
