Nilüfer Yanya

Nilüfer Yanya (born 11 May 1995) is a British singer, songwriter, and musician. She is the daughter of two visual artists, with her mother of Irish and Barbadian heritage and her father of Turkish descent. Yanya grew up in Chelsea, London, and was exposed to Turkish and classical music at home. She developed an interest in rock music and began playing guitar at the age of 12. Yanya began her musical career by uploading demos to SoundCloud in 2014.
