Sub Focus

Sub Focus, real name Nick Douwma, is a drum and bass producer/DJ from Guildford, UK. He started releasing music in 2003, and broke through with a number of tracks in his first year including "Acid Test", and "X-Ray". Originally a fan of rock music, including bands such as Nirvana, Douwma started a band at school with some friends although this was a short-lived ambition as he "wasn't very good" at playing musical instruments.
