Mousie & the Traps were one of the few bright spots illuminating Toddlin' Town's initial existence. They came to Russ Vestee's attention via James Holvay, a local songwriter venerated for his gilt-edged work with the Buckinghams ("Kind Of A Drag," "Don't You Care," and "Susan" all bore his compositional imprimatur).
