Daft Punk was a French electronic music duo formed in 1993 in Paris by Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. They became widely known in the late 1990s as part of the French house movement, incorporating elements of house, funk, disco, techno, rock, and synth-pop. The duo has been cited as influential in electronic dance music. Bangalter and de Homem-Christo formed Daft Punk after their previous group, the indie rock band Darlin', disbanded.

Get Lucky o yaz her yerde çalıyordu ama albümün asıl derinliği Giorgio by Moroder ve Touch gibi parçalarda gizli. Daft Punk canlı müzisyenlerle bu kadar organik bir elektronik albüm yaratacak diye düşünmezdim. Ses tasarımı muhteşem.
