Stretch and Ben met in October 2001 when Ben signed to Spot On records and Stretch was working with Spot On’s Co-owner Vern as the infamous Stretch & Vern. It wasn’t until August 2002 when Stretch and Ben were DJing at TYPE in London that they decided to make ‘ a ‘ track together. It was clear they worked well and by Autumn 2002 they had produced a number of tracks including ‘ It’s Gotta Be ‘ which was duly signed by Seb and Vern to Spot On in January of 2003. It was released as part of ‘ EP1 ‘.
