Jean-Baptiste Quentin (fl Paris, 1718-c1750). French composer. A violinist of high reputation, he played at the Opéra and composed much chamber music for violin and continuo, trio sonatas and quartet sonatas. His brother Bertin (d ?1767) was also a violinist and composer.
