Harley D, real name Harley Dennis, is a jump-up drum and bass producer from Birchington. In 2004 Harley heard "Flava 4 Rava" by The Professionals, and that track took him on a mission to find more DnB. Eventually he found Plantdnb.com. There in chat room on Planetdnb he listened to the live streams. Eventually he spoke to some guys in there and they got into talks how they went about making music.
