Rosenstolz

Rosenstolz was a German pop duo from Berlin, active from 1991 to 2012, consisting of singer AnNa R. and musician Peter Plate. The duo achieved chart success in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, with five of their studio albums reaching number one on the German albums chart. They split up to pursue individual music projects but did not rule out a future reunion. AnNa R. died in March 2025. Rosenstolz's music incorporated elements of pop, chanson, and rock, with lyrics often focusing on themes of love, sex, and emotions.
