Big Hit

Big Hit always knew that he was destined for greatness. The Pasadena native grew up in a two parent household where he was caught between two worlds: his mom was a devout Jehovah Witness and his dad embodied the “gangster” narrative in the truest sense. Hit’s fascination with hip-hop started to take form on the block. He burst onto the scene in the late ‘80s as a sharp-tongued battle rapper, participating in neighborhood sessions here and there without fully committing to the art form.
