Carolesdaughter, often stylized in lowercase as carolesdaughter, is the musical project of singer, songwriter, and influencer Thea Taylor, originally from Oceanside, CA. She gained popularity through social media app TikTok for her distinct fashion and makeup style, and her piercings and tattoos. Her debut single, "Too Fast," a collaboration with Dog, was released exclusively to SoundCloud in May 2020. Throughout the next few months, she would continue to post songs to SoundCloud, taking influence from Emo Rap and Cloud Rap.
