eill is a Japanese singer-songwriter from Tokyo born in 1998. Her music blends black-music influences like soul, R&B and dance, and her voice carries a mix of sweetness, longing, gloss, and strength. Her stage name comes from the Norse goddess Eir, symbolizing healing — she believes that music itself can heal. She started singing seriously around age 15 and began composing on her computer shortly after. In 2018 she debuted with the mini-album "MAKUAKE"
